Did Hokkaido a long time ago. Great ride, very un japanese scenery. Big Ford tractors, silos, dairy cows. Very friendly people.
Dukes are popular here, but always draw approving looks and questions. You would like touring Hokkaido and doing a hot spring with a little sake after each day's ride.
