I rode down to Monza for the WSB & then over to Le Mans for the GP, about 2500 miles. I was on my ST2 with Bridgestone 010F & 020R. Mate was on a 748 and had fitted a Pirelli GTX on the rear just for the trip. The Pirelli hardly wore whilst the 020 was looking a bit squared by the time we got home. Both are variable compound tyres but the Pirelli seemed to have a softer edge to it so it held its shape better than the 020. I recently rode the Multistrada with Pirelli fitted and was well impressed. I rode that bike down some roads I know well and was throwing it about. Not even a moment, totally stable and predictable. trust this helps I may well go Pirelli when these are out |
