| I was done for 100.1 mph last year yes 100.1 not 101 but 100.1 mph on the M5. Went to court did the lose my job bit but walked out with 7 day ban plus £550 fine then went back to get my car (with a mate) and got a £20 parking ticket.
Think you did ok with the size of the fine. On balance I think I'd prefer a 7 day ban than 6 points but that's just me.
Took great pleasure in taking the Mille down the same stretch a few weeks later at over 150mph. Childish but it made me feel better all the same. |
