The point about uneven ground is related to the lift being much smaller than a bench, so easier to transport to a race meeting, where there is usually a fair bit uneven ground in the paddock
My bench cost about 250 by the way - you dont have to buy the expensive ones ! (But they all take up the same space in your workshop when you're not using them
)
