Just spent 2 hours in hospital, at the fracture clinic.
I was sat there all proud coz I took my cast off on Sunday night, and although my arm is a bit sore, it actually felt much better out of the cast... So I'm expecting the Consultant to say, "Well Mr Cann, if it feels better, then no need to put another dirty great cast on - and can I have your autograph for the kids"
He didn't say that though
Instead he said "Just had a look at your x-ray, what a super crack you have in your arm! I think we should put it in a cast for another 3 weeks"
Bugger
3 weeks??
It'll be fine in another 10 days I reckon. Doctors eh? What do they know
At least this new cast is much better than the other thing. It's a kind of soft cast which I can wear in the shower
and very light weight.
So, my friends
you have me as a permanant fixture I'm afraid, right up until Castle Combe on 4th June :P:P:P
I'll be at CC on Wednesday though, and maybe riding
