| DJ - I havent seen your bike but my guess is that if it chips badly its been painted with cellulose paint. Easy safe and quick for the guy painting it - unfortunatey about as robust as Tipex fluid.
I have raced mine on an old airfield circuit in a bunch of 40 other bikes, with so many stones flying around that my irridium visor had to be thrown away after two races - the front number board remains unmarked. |
