Its a bit of a variation on the "House Full of Bikes" theme but, during his pre-Ducati phase, Dave built a Peter-Fonda like Harley Chopper indoors and, as occasional Spanner holder , I seem to remember the indoor construction reaching a stage that meant there was no way the bike was going to get through the door (it was very long!)
This realisation was followed by a short period of dis-assembly which started immediately the tool kit was retreived from the bottom of the garden
