| I must admit that I put the original clutch cover back on for track days ... probably not save the clutch entierly, but got to be better than the vented ally thing I usually use.
I saw a 749 in the dealer for repair with all the RH side scuffed. Didn't look so bad but apparently the clutch had pushed through and damaged the gearbox. They were talking about ball-park figure of £4500 damage! It was not a write off, the bike only had 125 miles on it. |
