| Anybody know anything about iTunes 4.8?
Tried to upgrade iTunes for Windows XP today from an earlier version. All I get when the downloaded installer runs is "Failed to connect to service manager. Error=0". This happens after it's already done most of the install, but the upshot is it's deinstalled my old version without installing the new. I've downloaded the upgrade twice and tried to run it direct once as well, same result. I also suspended my firewall and security stuff in case that was causing it to fail, but same result.
Apple iTunes support and chocolate fireguards are about equally effective. So I know it's a long shot but does anybody on here have any iTunes techy knowledge? |
