If you (and I mean TP and CB speficially) read the first post properly you'd see that the question was raised about what we'd LIKE to see happening in 2006!! Nobody is questioning the rules as they are for this year and I'll probably stick with it through next year anyway cos I enjoyed being on track at CC so much!
BUT if we are "stuck with" a single championship next year then those of us that bought (late model) 583's having been led to believe that a big bore kit (which, since buying my '99 583, I now understand isn't available for my bike) would make them competitive with a 620, will either have to be content with rumbling around at the back of the field or sell it (probably at a loss) to get a 620 or earlier 583 so we can BB it!? This may be a CHEAP way of getting DSC members onto the race track but who'd want to do it just to make up numbers? |
