You're right on the paintwork JP. Andy - the Bostrom and the Bayliss were sold in different ways. The Bayliss was only offered on the internet initially with 300 units but production tooled up for 500. The Bostrom was produced in 3 lots of 155 (his race number) - one set with the 123bhp engine but more carbon-fibre went to USA, the remaining two sets with full power engines but less carbon went to Europe and the rest of the world - so the total number of both bikes is very similar at about 470. The reason the USA got the standard Testastretta (in both bikes) was because the S engine couldn't meet their emmission tests. |
