Following on from U2 at Twickenham....

.......we had Tommy Emmanuel and Johnny Dickinson here in Wargrave.

Absolutely fantastic. What top blokes they are.

250 in the audience in a very hot marquee and, between the two of them, we got a 3 hour set.

Tommy is a true gent (for an Aussie) and was flying out to New York the following day at 06:00 to play the Carnegie Hall, Sunday evening, with the likes of Paul McCartney, Peter Frampton & Steve Miller for the Les Paul 90th birthday tribute.

We even had Bruce Welch in the audience who I got to chat to as well.

btw - it was probably as loud as U2 as well
