i think alot of it is how you perceive the message board. some people write exactly as they would talk and are thinking at the time ofther saying things that in a spoken conversation would be retracted or changed when discussed . others think about what they want to say and make sure thier response is well thought out. i actually think both are valid but we have to bear in mind how many people could read it sometimes out of context and be prepared to change our point of view. unfortunately by then often the petrol has already been thrown on the fire. having met people you are talking to makes a whole heap of difference as you understand how they will react and take your often tongue in cheek comments. |
