No cars have wet clutches though and some produce far more power than our little bikes! Even F1 cars are dry.

Two good reasons for dry clutches are

1. Friction material doesnt get pumped around the engine
2. The clutch spinning in oil creates a lof of drag and hence wastes engine power. Hardly any race bikes run wet clutches.


Bad points are that they wear out quickly, they are noisey and erm, thats about it as far as my experiences with them go.
