| I did find that on one particular game it was the installer on the CD that was crashing ie I couldn't even get the game installed in the first place. Got it eventually to work by 'exploring' the files on the CD then finding the relevant EXE files (as well as the autostart) then set each one to WIN98 compatible. I think on one I had to bypass the autoinstaller and run the install.exe manually. Bit of a faff but worth it for the look on the childs face!
