| As for tightening the swing arm pivot, I doubt if it will help unless the 999 has tapered roller bearings or similar in the swing arm, usually normal ball races or needle roller type.
You could be getting a bit of play in both the swingarm pivot bearings and the rear wheel bearings or it could just be the tyre distorting as suggested.
I jsut had to replace the rear Rennsport on my 998 as the profile on the RHS had changed to much. The crown of the tyre is no longer in the centre of the tyre but is now offset to the left. |
