| Didn't get to meet up with any of you in the viewing area - I was the one in my waterproofs with a platic bag on my head under my cap!!
Racing was good. Departure took me an hour to get to the M1 (using the organisers directions that seemed to disappear after a few miles) and another 3 hrs to get back to Kent - gloves still wet this morning! Last time I got that wet was hurricane season in Florida.
999 was suprisingly comfortable over the distance though I have to say. Worst bit was having had my visor up when leaving, when it came to getting going and putting the visor down, furiously wiping it before I realised the rain was on the inside! Doh.. |
