Guy's, came to the same concluesion on frame sliders / crash bungs ..... can create more damage than they save.
I have gone for R & G spindle bungs and fixed foot pegs that won't fold up should it go down the road.
The other bonus of the rear spindle bungs is that they will also work as pick up points for a rear paddock stand.
