| alloy subframe - straightening
crash repairs to the 916!!!
i was looking at straigtening the ally subframe, its bent, tucked down at the rear!.
does anyone have any experiance of straightening alloy, i assume its best to apply some heat before attempting it?
how much heat to apply? any danger of apllying too much.
ive worked with steel doing this sort of thing and would feel confident that i would be able to straigten it if it was steel, any thing i should try or consider?? |
