| More than 50,000 aircraft operations are undertaken to or from Nottingham East Midlands Airport each year, carrying in excess of 3,000,000 passengers and 200,000 tonnes of freight, 365 days a year and 24 hours a day. An operation of this size and scale has the potential to disturb people and in recent years we have been working hard to ensure that the noise impact of these operations is minimised, particularly when operations are undertaken at night. |
