| It was me that suggested selling should be restricted to paid up DSC members. I borrowed the idea from the lexus owners forum where you have to be a paid up gold member to sell, but anyone can post a wanted ad. Since we should know who's a paid up DSC member, it shouldn't be too hard to setup.
Another forum I'm a frequenter of is avforums.com which uses trader ratings to allow people to provide feedback in a similar fashion to ebay. All of which are aimed at stopping people just turning up to flog their wares then bu&&ering off.
I don't see it preventing new members joining the board / forum either, just getting a leash on advertising, which I know the MT/WT are doing for commercial bodies.
All we need now is a method of joining up online......
