You know how I love to DIY...well my mission this holiday is to strip the pine bannister to bare wood.
The bannister is covered in that nasty green lead paint (house is 1920/30s)
I have covered with paint stripper and wiped it off with wire wool then sanded it. It just wont come out of the grain...
How can I get it out?...Is there anything other than paint stripper that will take it out?
Puleeeeez help!
