Exhaust repairs

I read a few days ago in a post (gawd, I've spent most of my working days recently glued to the board!!!) that someone was asking if anyone knew of an exhaust repairer, although I now can't remember who it was, or indeed find the post!

So, anyway, I had the unfortunate experience of lowsiding #99 at Snetterton through the chicaine which then "flipped" the poor little bike through 360 degrees when it hit the kerb. Result...one crushed Termignoni.

I remembered cutting out a little classified ad from MCN a few years ago which offered exhaust repairs...so I trawled through my bike "files" and actually found it (so, so very sad, eh?) I called the number and, although he had moved, he still offered the service! So, I packaged up the mangled can and, hey presto, ten days later a newly sleeved and re-packed exhaust was whanging its way onto my beloved DD machine. Can't remember the exact cost, but it was about sixty-or-seventy quid incl p&p.

I think he now also offers a titanium re-sleeving service, but in any case, the contact details are;

Performance Carbon
8 Atlas Court
Armadale
Bathgate
EH48 2TE

(office) 01501 730344
(mobile) 07989 556815
(email) performance.carbon@virgin.net

You MUST contact them before you send a can in though!

Good luck
