All fines and fixed penalties from a normal stop by the police go to the Treasury via the Courts.
If you are issued a fixed penalty for speeding by the Camera Safety mob, if you pay the fixed penalty, they get it but if you go to Court the Treasury gets it.
Some of the income from ANPR tickets, for No MOT, No Insurance & No Tax ( I think ) can be used to fund these teams. |
