Smoothness

Hi Colin, what you WILL find is that the 14t front sprocket means you'll be running slightly higher revs for any given road speed. That means it'll feel less snatchy around town at 30 mph, hence the way some of us (me included) described the 14t front making the bike "feel" smoother.
As Dickie quite rightly says, you'll feel as if your bikes been given a new lease of life as the acceleration is improved throughout the rev range, most noticeably at traffic lights
