Right, here goes...

If the Remus cans are just a slip on box with no pipework, then you'll keep the assymetric system. The header pipes are the originals, with different lengths, and the front cylinder pipe has a varying bore to mimic the straight bore of the rear cylinder (thin at the front, wider at the back).

The downside to this is that you'll have the rear cylinder running straight through with no cat, but the front cylinder will still be running through a cat as it's in the original header pipe. For the rear cylinder, the cat is in the original exhaust box which you would have replaced with the Remus box.

From what I have read, the cat in the header pipe is quite small and so you shouldn't really have a problem with fuelling etc if the bike is set up properly at a dealer. You could always buy a straight through pipe from Ducati, which would have no cat but retain the varying bore of the assymetric system. This pipe is used in the Termi kits.

If you like the look, then I would buy the Remus cans and a straight through pipe. You should be able to set the standard ECU up to fuel correctly and/or you could add a PCIII Power Commander and some dyno time.
