I woud assume that witha 15 month old bike with just 6K on the clock...you have eery right to kick up a right stink.
I know you ride hard and fast...but its a 'superbike' its to be expected.
I would also imagine that with such a young bike, which I assume has had its servicing as required at a Ducati dealership...the chain will have been inspected/adjusted/lubed then by THEM (ie Ducati approved staff)...so for DUK to say it is due to lack of owner maintenance, thats just a push off in my eyes.
I think you have every right to have it all sorted by Ducati.
Problem is that they expect the Joe public to just turn over and not pursue the claim...It really gets my goat when large companies do that
I know for sure that if I ever found myself in a similar situation, I would not hesitate to chase them down with all kinds of action.
