| Do you have System restore on ? (assuming your running XP ) If so you probably have the virus saved to a restore point hence your AV still says your infected . Turn system restore off and windows will delete all saved restore points deleting the virus so no more alerts . Then turn system restore back on if you use it and things should be sorted .
