| Yikes, not heard that story before. 749's do suffer fuelling problems with slow running which is usually sorted out at first service. Mine was like that, kept cutting out just as I was about to pull out of a junction. I'm not aware that there are any differences between the 03 that I have and the 04 model, unless it is down to a batch of ECUs but then the throttle body thing makes no sense then.
Have you tried phoning a different dealer to see if they tell the same story? Try giving Craig at Italia in Lincoln a ring on 01522 888748 and ask what they know? I am confident you won't get any BS from them. |
