I had dinner with Ducati and Paul Smart before TA5, Paul was at the launch-in fact had just got back-and reckoned the bikes were belters. He actually mentioned both the brakes and the suspension as being excellent, says they steer very well, hold a line, and the motor is perfect for a road bike, nice and grunty but revs freely as well. I rode DUK's 620 Multistrada at Brands which has the sliding calipers-first thought when approaching Druids was-these brakes are a bit weak-but then I realised they were stopping the bike fine. They lack a bit of initial 'bite' compared to a P34 caliper but the outright stopping power is good. John |
