| Don't think Skype will ever replace a forum where you get to communicate with a lot of people at the same time, especially ones that you don't know very well.
In it's early days, Skype encouraged users to find random people to talk to but never really took off (when was the last time you picked a completely random number to call?!)
The calls usually went along the lines of;
A: Hello there
B: Hello
A: So this Skype thing is really amazing isn't it?
B: Yes
............
A: Okay, bye!
B: Bye
