Don't know about the battery, but the alarm shouldn't keep going off.
Stick it in service mode, take the alarm fuse out then get the battery off. The alarm battery will drain in a few days and stop beeping... when time comes to play again connect bike battery then put fuse back in the alarm and it should resume in service mode and recharge itself. Job's a good'n.
