Stalling on the 749 has been a common topic on this board. Mine suffered the same way, with the bike regularly stalling as I was about to pull out into traffic. It CAN be adjusted though, most get done on first service (600 mile) when it's all loosened up. I was told that the CO filters needed replacing on the setup equipment, but there would be a variety of reasons. I think it is more ot do with the balancing between the cylinders to be honest. Idle speed on my bike has always been just under 1500 rpm. [Edited on 17-10-2005 by HW] |
