| You don't get any decent size store motorcycle shop in the center of Rome, You need to travel outside the city.... and as you are in vacation, it is a real pain in the... driving around Rome on the "raccordo anulare" which is costant blocked with traffic. To shop bikes in Italy the place is Bologna (you can also visit - as you all know - the Ducati factory there) and the shop is MINGARELLI - good deals and lots of performance parts..
As for the pickpockets it is true, be really aware, especially after drinks.. BUT.. They (most) are not ITALIANS, so you can recognize them..they are all from the East Europe - lots from ex-Yugoslavia and Albania....just look how they dress like and if their face is unshaved or so.. even a Brit will spot the difference!!! |
