Boy comes home from school and says to his Dad ‘Hey Dad what is the difference between theory and reality?’

His Dad takes a moment and says ‘Son tell you what go and ask your sister if she would sleep with a complete stranger for half a million pounds.’

‘Okay’ the boys says and off he goes and asks his sister who replies that yes she would indeed sleep with a stranger for half a million pounds.

So he goes back to his dad and tells him ‘Umm’ replies his father. ‘Well?’ says the boy ‘Does that help? Can you now explain the difference to me between theory and reality?’
‘No not really’ says the father. ‘Tell you what, go and ask your mother whether she would sleep with some minging stranger for a million pounds’. ‘Okay’ says the boy and off he goes.

So he finds his mum and asks her the question, his mother thinks about it for a moment and says ‘Well we could sure do with some stuff around the home etc and I could pack up work so yeah I would’.

Finally the boy goes back to dad and tells him that mum would in fact do the deed with a minging stranger and once again asks whether dad can now explain the difference between theory and reality.

Dad leans back on his chair and says ‘yup I think I can - in theory we live on top of one and half million pounds but in reality we just live with a couple of hookers’.
