it's to tempting to forget the close calls we have had, and in most cases if we were going slow it would not have happened, I have a friend that got knocked of his bike buy a fireblade and it broke his leg and smashed his bike up, he was all for finding the blade rider and give him a good kicking for the time he was not at work till I calmed him down and explained that what happened might have happened to him as he speeds on the same bit of road and he to wight lines at the same place that the crash was.
The speed of your bikes are so fast that 45 mph on an a or b road out side of town is not on, it's to slow and we all know it, so lets stop ripping into other bikers,

when we have a crash we blame the other party at first any way,

Get real, there is a difference between excess speed and riding like a coooooooont!
I dont know the full facts of this but, putting the excess speed to one side, wheres the skill in going through the hazard of a junction, whether the road is for or against you, at any thing that is not appropriate to the conditions? That is just total lunacy and shows a complete disregard for the safety of any one else, let alone yourself!
If this rider was Disqual for whatever reason, then continuing to ride, and this will be without insurance as no one in the land will cover a banned driver/rider, again compounds his attitude to the rest of the community.
If it is the case he is pssd as well? Quite frankly, this person deserves no sympathy and should expect a custodial sentence!!
