Guys

I think I can sort of see where bike mad is coming from.

Many of the bikers I see on the roads behave as if they have a God given right to cross double whites, ride at any speed that they think is o.k. often at 20-30+ over the speed limits ( be that limit 30,60 or 70 ) whiteline and treat other road users as mobile chicanes in a playstation game. The ones that don't ride like this really stand out.

Andy, what is the difference between riding at excess speed and riding like a c**t?

Are you saying that excess speed is acceptable? Surely travelling over the speed limit is showing the same disregard for other road users and putting them in danger?

I know riders who travel at 120mph + on A roads and then give abuse to people who '' pull out on them '' and I have ridden with Advanced riders who think that their badge gives them '' the ability '' to do all of the above.

Bike mads comments that we should hate the laws that makes us criminals are also in his opinion valid. The laws on Sunday trading were ignored by the big stores so the government changed the law so that they could trade. Mad or what?

Yes I do agree that this bloke was a dipstick for riding while disqualified / not insured and should have a spell inside, but basically the '' powers that be '' don't seem to be that bothered about this sort of low level crime when the paltry fines meted out are far less than the cost of insurance for these people.

Got to go - I'm off to go and nick some tins of salmon 'cos the shops are open today
