I was looking to get the type 2 one ot go with my slip on can, this is rather worrying

Can the original rubber mounts not be used on the new pipe? or if not a rubber washer and steel washers could be used i guess

Seems a bit wrong for it not to be rubber mounted somewhere along the pipe bound to cause problems
