| all rearsets will move the footrests back to some degree, that's why they're called "rearsets". this is also the reason you will need a longer shift rod. if you compare position with std on a SS you should find they are further back on that also. whether the shift rod is interchangeable from SS to 888, i don't know.
the std footrest assy's on 888's and SS's share the same part numbers also.
