Harv, that's basically what happened with my 996, fell in love, no idea what I was buying other than she was fantastic to ride, looked and sounded superb, had been my dream bike from outset and the goal I planned to attain at some point in life. Still love her but would have benefited hugely from knowing more about what I was buying before I laid out £9K!
