I've been checking out the alternator wiring on the 888 and a little TLC is needed. One connector is blackened and the main cable insulation has a split where it passes through the main cover (previously well botched so it was a b****r to get out). I see Vehicle Wiring Products (
http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk/) has some suitable high current 2-wire connectors I could use but neither they or Maplins list any suitable 2-core cable. Has anyone found a suitable source? I could use adhesive heat shrink to repair the split but I'd be happier if I could replace the whole cable.
