NCR get a reliable 120bhp from the 1000ds lump in the race spec Millona. I know Chris Kelley is getting similar figures from a 1080, but I'm not sure you'd want / need to run it so high. I would have thought a useable 110bhp with decent throttle response and a nice fat midrange would be far more useable.
My long term plan is to do just that with my 900SL, but donor 1000ds lumps aren't easy to come by, and my bank manager would laugh out loud if I asked for the cash.
