When I last went over about 4 years ago we got an overnight Eurostar ticket - think it was £9 return but you had to travel over at 11pm and come back at about 7am the next morning..... I got about £350-£500 worth of Wine and beer as did my mate. We were buying really nice St Emillion, Graves, Bordeaux, DOCGChianti Classico Reserva etc for about £2-£3 a bottle Vs £4-£7 back in the UK. At that time the obligatory 24 crate of Boddys was £9-£10 Vs £18 on sale in my local Morrisons, so 10 crates of that made the trip worthwhile let alone the savings on wine (and got us through the Christmas parties). May have levelled out a bit now with the passage of time but you can still make good savings on wine Most important thing......is to rememebr the old 4X advert...
