Not being nosey or showing off, just wondered how peeps spend time over the festive period
I know that for a lot of people its just another work day, and i do know how that feels, well, every other year anyway.
I personally am on call every other year, have been for the last 15 years so i make the effort to do something different on my year off. Since becoming a dad (nine years now
) i try to make them special, such as lapland to see santa ( for Pheobe you understand
) a cottage on the west coast of scotland and Switzerland in the mountains, this year we're spending christmas and the new year in New York
.
The other benefit in doing this is not having to spend it with family :P:P
