Very very lucky situation, I work for a company that has a final salary pension and still offer it to all new starters as well ..... it is an American company, not sure if that makes a difference.
In fact from the age of 55 they actively encourage you to look towards taking retirement, many people get their pension topped up to the equivalent of being 60.
