| On the subject of full-floaters...
I took my 888 (with full-floaters) to the local Tyrespot depot to have a new front tyre fitted whilst I waited in the waiting room. After fifteen minutes the door was opened by the guy doing the tyre change on my bike, and he warned me that my front brake discs were "seriously loose" and may need "looking at!" Ho hum.
(As an aside: I've another 888 with bog-standard semi-floating front discs. This bike stops quicker, and gives much more feel through the lever).
