| I'm only a few miles away in St Albans. We heard it at 6.04 on my little bedside clock, jumped out of bed wondering what the heck it was. It was so loud you could feel it. Sounded like thunder at bit, we had no idea what it was until turned on the news. Just noticed there was a large black cloud coming our way from Hemel direction.
