| Always used Mer (or it could be Merr) but it's too F***ing cold to go in the garage and check the spelling :P
Key thing is not so much the polish, more how you put it on and take it off. Don't go round and round in circles with the cloth, looks crap in the sunlight when the paintwork is full of swirls.
Excuse the pun, but, keep to long straight strokes going from front to back.
