The torx t20 seems to be promising. However I only have the L shaped key but even tapping that is having an effect. So, I will wait and get a torx socket and try with that.
If not that doesnt do it then, as Andy b suggests, it's off to the professionals. An engineer or someone like Sigma who are fairly local in kent??
Mind you if its made of butter deliberately so it can easily snap off............
