Glad you didn't need to use the wets on the day.
In answer to your question yes, you can just enter one race to dip a toe in the water, if you are interested in having a go u2u me and I'll forward my numbers to you if you want to have a chat about it.
I would be more than willing to provide as much help as I can to make the experience less daunting and more enjoyable and I am sure we can find space for the bike in our awning!
